Our beliefs shape our reality.

The story we tell ourselves is so incredibly powerful. That’s probably why positive affirmations have such a great rep. What identity you're attaching yourself to, your self-talk, and the words you use - all have a strong influence on your psyche and have a ripple effect on your everyday life. As Oprah Winfrey beautifully worded in her book titled “What I know for sure”, she says:  “What I know for sure is that no matter what your current situation is, you played a major role in creating it. We build our life thanks to each of our experiences, thought after thought, choice after choice.” - Indeed, when you believe in something you’re convinced of that thing and act accordingly and also get the consequences of that belief. Throughout life, starting with childhood, we pick up beliefs along the way, from our parents, our teachers, our friends, and from what we see in our environment.

Unfortunately, we tend to inhibit ourselves with damaging ones too, our child’s mind absorbs it all, the good, the bad, and the in-between.

We definitely cannot control everything, we actually have little control in life but what we control is our thoughts. The ones we choose to feed and interact with.

We can rewire our thinking patterns to empower ourselves and live the life we desire, instead of suffering through life.

Making sure our thoughts go the way we want not in the other way of attracting everything we do not want. Not letting our minds trick us. Getting our minds to submit to our heart’s knowledge, and soul’s wisdom - not the other way around.

As always, self-awareness is the first step in bringing our unconscious beliefs into our conscious mind. Transmuting them and/or letting them go to rewire our thoughts for empowering beliefs. Because at the end of the day, despite how much we want to blame our parents, our teachers, and our society, as adults, we are the ones responsible for our well-being of today and beyond. We are the ones who get to decide how we want to live our lives.

So how do we revamp our belief system or upgrade our current belief system, clear out our negative beliefs, and shift to the universal truth in order to thrive in life?

Well, there’s one “letting go of all inner limitations” method that has been making waves throughout the world for over four decades: “The Sedona Method”, an emotional releasing technique created by the late physicist Lester Levenson and which is now carried out by Hale Dwoskin, New York Times best-selling author, one of the featured teachers of the book and movie phenomenon, “The Secret,” and in the sequel documentary film "The Greatest Secret” by the same director among other features. " He is the co-founder of Sedona Training Associates, an organization that teaches courses based on emotional releasing techniques. Hale has dedicated his life to helping people eliminate their suffering and discover the truth of who they truly are. He’s also the co-author of many groundbreaking personal development books.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT:

  • Neuroplasticity;

  • The concepts of separation and belonging;

  • The link between your mind and your emotions;

  • Emotional freedom through “The Sedona method”;

  • Positive beliefs;

  • The law of attraction;

  • And so much more ...
