Everything in the universe is within you. Ask all from yourself.”

- This is a quote from the fantastic poet Rumi.

February: the month holding Valentine's Day, that time of the year when it’s all about love everywhere but … let’s switch things up a bit.

Instead of falling into the business aspects of this day such as buying gifts, flowers and also looking for approval from someone else and calling your partner your “half”; let’s focus this talk on YOU, on self-love.

The type of love that nourishes you deep inside and which is the key to loving others fairly and healthily. To quote the amazing Ru Paul “if you can’t love yourself, how the [heck] you gonna love somebody else?”.

Once you truly, honestly and completely love yourself, you become unstoppable, more daring and taking action to create the life you deserve. It’s knowing your worth, valuing yourself so you can attract people and opportunities who and which match the same vibe.

Today’s episode is a little bit different from the previous ones. I was very keen on bringing you a great guest, as usual, to exchange on self-love but something was sort of blocking me in the process of doing so. I still wanted to genuinely encourage you to keep on cultivating your self-love. I had to listen to my gut feeling and stop for a moment. It got me thinking … that’s when I had this ah-ha moment: “you want to talk about self-love but with someone else, isn’t it contradictory or at least ambivalent?” I had to admit that, in a sense, yes absolutely, the power of the word “self” in the term “self-love” is so strong that I should maybe focus on that, and this time, have myself talk about what “self-love” means to ME. Not saying that opening the conversation with others about self-love is a no-no. I am actually a strong believer in adding different perspectives on the same topic to add more substance and value. Nonetheless, this time it felt right to express my own thoughts on this conscious matter.

So here we are with me rambling by myself.

Listen up to this gem!

Namaste listeners,
